it looks at food as a way into culture — through ingredients, local rituals, markets, restaurants, home cooking, and the small details that make a place feel alive. a dish is never just a dish. it carries where it came from, who made it, how people eat it, and why it stays in memory.

tohdoh began from the idea that food can make you feel close to a place, even when you’re far from home. instead of seeing dishes only by country or label — italian, japanese, chinese, american — tohdoh looks at what they are rooted in: land, season, memory, movement, and everyday life.
